About Jacko
Jacko is not your standard Fixer. He usually doesn’t specialize specifically in any sort of Shadowrunning. His specialty is focused around the commodity of contacts, in general. He boasts that he knows a hundred useful contacts, and for the right price (almost always by both of them), he will trade contact information. You want a decker for a job, he knows a guy that might know a guy. You need to sell some gear, he might just know someone that might be useful to you.
Jacko never sets up runs. Technically, he never actually breaks laws, except maybe the occasionally conspiracy to commit something law. Jacko always pays his bills and always expects to be paid for them. He likes to wine and dine new contacts, and is very good at keeping his contacts comfortable in their own settings.
Not much is known about Jacko’s background. Several deckers have tried to look into him, but have found nothing on him. He doesn’t seem to mind such checks, as nobody seems to know anything useful enough to even look into. He is also said to have a photographic memory, as he never seems to forget anything told to him.
Jacko has a number of ways to get into contact with him, ranging from about a hundred email addresses (even active in Shadowland as Jacko.Seattle.Shadowland) to a dozen phone numbers. He has a formal office in Seattle, identifying himself as a “Personal Advisor.”
As a fixer, Jacko prides himself on his ability to communicate. He makes it a point to never come off as superior. When he meets with a client (he calls all of his contacts clients), he usually manages to come off as one-of-the-guys. He is known for having ork and troll clients who are actively loyal to him because he doesn’t talk too human for their tastes. Jacko is very, very good at what he does.
As a general rule, he charges anywhere from 1000 ¥ to 20,000 ¥ to make a contact to the big guys, and usually about half of that to Shadowrunners.
